Construction Handover Documentation (CHD) Coordinator

IFS have developed a proven methodology for the programmed delivery of the IFS Digital Project Manual™ (Digital Project Health & Safety Files) on large, complex and multi-project construction programmes; IFS Construction Handover Documentation (CHD) Coordinator™ methodology encompasses the project lifecycle to handover at practical completion and right through to the on-going support of the building owner’s Facilities Management team.

IFS CHD Coordinator™ service introduces a number of measures and validation procedures including periodic reviews, documentation approvals and sign-offs. These measures ensure that the Construction Handover Documentation is compliant with current Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations and the client's Building / Facilities Management requirements.

As Part of the IFS CHD Coordinator™ service clients who have received paper based Health & Safety Files in the past can convert to the IFS Digital Project Manual™ standard. Clients can do this in the knowledge that our experience will provide a reliable transition to our innovative digital format. The files are registered and converted in a controlled environment, we implement a strict process for publishing retrospective paper based Health & Safety Files and these are subject to a number of internal reviews prior to being presented for approval to the client. Following approval, the relevant IFS procedures are followed for the release and installation of the files on the client's IT Network. All registered hardcopy information is then packaged and returned to the client for their archived records.
