Role Description:

IFS are currently looking for a dynamic individual with a background in the Construction and Facilities Management Industry to work with the team on a number of projects and to grow with and further develop the company’s capabilities and reputation in the area of Digital Project Information delivery utilising its on-line Digital platforms.


Applicants should be familiar with the AEC sector and Digital Project Delivery and have a good overall understanding and knowledge of building systems, building services and the overall design, construction and operations process.  Applicants should hold a national Diploma/Degree in Construction Studies / technologies, Building Services Engineering or an equivalent professionally recognised accreditation. 


The position requires a self-motivated individual who is willing to work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.  The candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years post graduate experience. An understanding of Digital Project Delivery and Building Handover control and management procedures would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills are essential as the position necessitates a high level of on-line and regular communications across multidisciplinary teams. The ability to demonstrate good process and project management skills and techniques, work as part of a team and complete a programme of assigned tasks  related to project delivery and close-out on time and to specified quality standards, are key requirements.

During the Covid pandemic this role supports remote working with occasional visits to our Dublin Head Office, as required and when permissible under Covid legislation.


Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to Senior Management , The On-line Digital Co-ordinator will Project manage our scope on our customers sites in Europe – Incl. Construction based Digital Information Co-ordination, management and control, on-line task workflow management, quality assurance, project handover/turnover progress reporting to Site based teams and to Owners teams at regional and global level.


Qualifications & Experience:

Candidates should hold qualifications in a built environment related disciplines and have relevant experience. Experience working with on-line industry specific Document Management platforms and technologies / processes including Building Information Modelling, CAD and an understanding of Industry standards such as RIBA Digital Plan of Work, COBIE , BSRIA , ASHRAE while not essential would be advantageous.
